Maître Eric HAUTRIVE is an Attorney. He started his career with a firm of Attorneys in 1988 and was called to the Bar in March 1989.
Contract Law and Real Estate Law are his specialities. A Master’s degree in Private Law was followed by training at the Paris Institut des Etudes Judiciaires (Judicial Studies Institute). After cutting his teeth in a major Parisian firm specializing in Business Law and Labor and Welfare Law, and then a firm specialazed in Construction and Insurance Law, Eric founded his own firm in 1991.
In 2000, Eric left the Bar behind to pursue corporate life, becoming European Arms Contract Manager for Giat Industries.
He then founded two companies, one of them a foreign company dedicated to supporting major retailers, and the other specializing in the design of management tools for bookstores and independent publishers.
Part-time lecturer at CNAM, Eric focuses on vocational training and has trained EDF-GDF prevention plan experts. Involved in the reform of French commercial courts, he is due to make a submission to the Parliamentary Law Commission.
